There’s more to every story, and now, the Newseum’s new mobile app brings a whole new story to the Pulitzer Prize Photographs Gallery, reopening September 2016 at the Newseum. Use the app to dive deeper into augmented reality content featuring video interviews with the Pulitzer Prize-winning photographers, as they tell their story about capturing these iconic images.

• LOOK at riveting items from the Gallery before your visit, like as Harry Trask’s Graflex Speed camera that captured the 1956 Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph of the sinking of the Andrea Doria liner.
• LISTEN to audio clips of Newseum Director Indira Williams Babic discussing can’t-miss Gallery highlights.
• EXPLORE the Gallery with augmented reality through the app to access interview footage with the Prize-winning photographers, such as Joe Rosenthal’s capturing of the 1945 Prize-winning photograph of the flag-raising at Iwo Jima.

The Newseum mobile app uses augmented reality to allow you to unlock exclusive content during your visit, to see, learn, and dive deeper into the Gallery. Download and stream content on the Newseum’s free public WiFi when you visit.
